Two locals place in state ACT-SO event

Five local teens competed against students from across the state during the Mississippi NAACP ACT-SO competition held in Jackson March 12, 2016. Two of those ladies, Asia Eichelberger (left) and Alicia Hopkins (right) both placed and won medals. Alicia was awarded a silver medal in the drawing category, while Asia was awarded the bronze medal in contemporary vocal music. Asia is wearing her bronze medal in the photo. Congratulations to both ladies on a job well done.
