Teaching is a family affair for the Hemphills

Mrs. Chappell's Kindergarten students read 453 books for 3rd 9 Weeks!! 1st place winner was SaNya Leach, she read 41 books with 91% correct. 2nd place was a tie. R'Dashyia Riddle read 38 books with 90% correct. Haleigh Triplett read 38 books with 91% correct. 3rd place was also a tie with three students. Caleb Hughes read 37 books with 96% correct. Bailey Vaughn read 37 books with 95% correct. Taylor Wade read 37 books with 93% correct. The students received prizes for their achievement in AR reading. Mrs. Chappell is so proud of all her students' reading ability!! Reading is the key to a child's academic future!
