ECCC Warriors take road win over Coahoma, 35-14

Marquis Hedge (21) was the top offensive weapon during East Central Community College’s 35-14 blowout of Coahoma Community College Thursday, Sept. 4 on the Clarksdale campus. Hedge, a 5-9, 185-pound sophomore running back, ran for three touchdowns and hauled in a pass for another score in helping lead the Warriors to the impressive non-division victory. The Forest Hill High School product finished the night with 100 yards on 22 carries. In the background is sophomore quarterback Ethan Hamilton (8) who also had a productive night for the Warriors. The Noxapater High School product completed 11 of 18 passes for 114 yards and the one score.    (EC Photo)
