Rotary learns about RTS in Jackson

The Louisville Rotary Club learned about the impact and history of the Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Jackson. Guy Richardson President, RTS Jackson, in the April 18 meeting explained to the club members the impact the Jackson based group is having on religious teachings throughout the country and world. Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) is a non-denominational, evangelical Protestant seminary. RTS’s first campus remains in Jackson though the school has expanded to include several additional campuses. RTS now has campus locations in Orlando, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Washington, D.C.; Memphis, Tennessee; and Houston, Texas, as well as its Virtual Campus online. Richardson explained through the expansion of the seminary especially with its growth online that the seminary is impacting the teachings of Christianity throughout the world. The program when it first began in 1965 aimed to help train church leaders in Mississippi and the Southeast but soon found itself growing to help carry the training of church leaders through out the world.
