Mr. James Curtis Williamson
Funeral services for Mr. James Curtis Williamson were held at 3 pm
Thursday, April 25, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Tim
Vowell officiating. Interment was in Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston
County. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of
Mr.Williamson, 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Anderson
Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. He lived in Neshoba County
all of his life. He was a retired riverboat mate and also a painter.
He was a member of First Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife, Trudy Hardin Williamson of
Phila, MS; daughters, Kathy Gray of Phila, MS, Sandra Watkins of
Union, MS; sons, Keith Williamson of Phila, MS, Ray Williamson,
Janice of Phila, MS; sisters, Katie Mae Stewart of Phila, MS, Mavis
Hollifield of Lake, MS, Mary Ann Hardy of Phila, MS and Audrey Faye
Stewart of Lake, MS; brothers, Paul Williamson of Phila, MS & David
Williamson of Phila, MS; (9) grandchildren; (14) great-grandchildren;
host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Brad Gray, Chad Gray, Frankie Watkins, Josh
Williamson, Zack Williamson and Larry Cole.
Mrs. Audrey (Polly) Moore Butler
Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey (Polly) Moore Butler were held at 10
am Monday, April 22, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John
Stephens and Rev. Len Wedgeworth officiating. Interment was in Pine
Grove Cemetery at House, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services
was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Butler, 71, of the Golden Grove Community, passed away
onThursday, April 18, 2013 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian,
MS. She worked 19 years at Peavy Electronics. She was a member of
Crossroads Baptist Church.
Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband, William E. (Billy) Butler of
Union, MS; daughter, Peggy Laird of Little Rock, MS; son, Robert
Baker of Phila, MS; mother, Mary (Frances) Moore of Perris, CA;
sisters, Betty White of Benton, AR and Jane Frias of Moreno Valley,
CA; brothers, Mike Moore of AZ, Robert Moore of CA and Pat Moore of
CA; (3) grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Larry Pearson, Tim Warren, Tony Warren, Rev. Mike
Powell, Scott Clark, Billy Laird and Douglas Sikes.
Miss Rebecca Ann Yates
Funeral services for Miss Rebecca Ann Yates was held at 2 PM
Saturday, April 27, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Fred
Britton and Rev. Ray Luke officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Miss Yates was born on November 26, 1947 and passed away on Thursday,
April 25, 2013 at Neshoba County General Hospital. She was 65 years
Pallbearers are Keith Yates, Barrett Little, James Luke, Bennie Luke,
Claud Yates and Cecil Price.
Mr. John Trosper
Services for John Trosper were held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 11
a.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Parker and
Rev. Randy Caldwell officiating. Burial followed in Center Ridge
Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home
in Philadelphia was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Trosper, 62, of Preston, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at The
University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
He was a native of Louisville and a longtime resident of the
Preston community in Kemper County. He was a retired logger. Mr.
Trosper was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Higginbotham Trosper of
Preston; brother, Sam Trosper of Louisville; and sister, Mary Wylie
Pallbearers were Michelle Dukes, Lance Higginbotham, Stacy
Higginbotham, Brad Trosper, Steve Wylie and Sam Trosper.
Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in
Jackson or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Mrs. Shelby Jean Sanders
Mrs. Shelby Jean Sanders, 76, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013,
in the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville,
Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 5 p.m.
until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Graveside
services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in
Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Matt Moehring officiating.
Mrs. Sanders was born on May 19, 1936, to Shed and Mary Whitten
Watson. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church and she
was a homemaker.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Linda Luke of Greenville,
Mississippi; her son Ken Sanders of Louisville; and her brother Carey
Watson of Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Mr. Don Kirkpatrick, Sr.
Services for Don Kirkpatrick, Sr. were held Tuesday, April 30, 2013
at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis
Duvall officiating. Burial followed in Morrow Cemetery in Neshoba
County with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kirkpatrick, 65, of Philadelphia, MS, died Sunday, April 28,
2013 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
He was a native of the Dixon community of Neshoba County and was a
resident of the Burnside community for several years. He was retired
from Taylor Machine Works in Louisville as a welder. He had formerly
worked for Burrage Trucking in Philadelphia as a mechanic. Mr.
Kirkpatrick was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Stacey Dempsey; sons, Jamie
Kirkpatrick and Donnie Kirkpatrick; two grandchildren, all of
Philadelphia and a brother, David Kirkpatrick.
