2013 Miss Ebonette Scholarship Pageant held

The Ebonette Club of Louisville has worked hard to prepare for the
Miss Ebonette Scholarship Pageant. “Moving Forward” is the theme for
this year. The pageant is an excellent opportunity for some of
Winston County’s brightest and most accomplished seniors who are
college bound to compete for scholarships.

The program participants took the stage at Louisville High School
auditorium at 7:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2013, to vie for
scholarships and the title of 2013 Miss Ebonette.

Five joy-filled young ladies will be competing for the title of Miss
Ebonette 2013. They are Shanteeze Carter, Tykeria Harris, Laterrica
Hunt, and Ciera Tanner.

Four scholarships were awarded:Tykeria Harris – Second Alternate,
$200; Laterrica Hunt – Miss Congeniality; Ciera Tanner – Miss
Ebonette 2013, $1000 and Scholastic Award, $100; Shanteeze Carter –
First Alternate Talent Award, $300.
