In efforts to raise money for the 2013 Winston County Relay for Life,
Winston Medical Center will host a Disney Character Dining Day.
The event will be on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 am and will be held
at Lake-Tiak-O’ Khata in Louisville.
Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Donald Duck, Woody, Snow White, Strips,
Belle, Daisy Duck, Buzz Lightyear, Tinkerbell, and Minnie Mouse will
greet children for a fun filled day to interact, dine, and allow
children an opportunity to see some of their favorite characters! A
professional photographer will be on site for pictures with the ALL
characters for ONLY $5!
Lunch include chicken tenders, fries, ice-cream, and a drink.
Entertainment and door prizes will be available!
Participants must purchase tickets in advance to attend the event.
Tickets are $15 each. Tickets are available at Winston Medical
Center Purchasing Department (located at the back of the hospital),
Penny’s from Heaven, or Chamber of Commerce.
“We are excited about this fundraiser. It will allow our team at
Winston Medical Center an opportunity to give back to our community
and will also allow children, some who have never been to Disney
World a chance to feel that they have met their favorite characters”,
stated Elaine Cooper, WMC Team Captain.

RELAY FOR LIFE Bake Sale March 22
Winston Medical Center Relay for Life Team will be having a
Brooksville Bakery bake sale on Friday, March 22 from 8:00 a.m.-until
in the front lobby of Winston Medical Center. Advance orders can be
placed by contacting Shannon at 662-779-5124 or 662-803-0499. The
deadline for special orders will be Wednesday, March 20 at noon.
WMC Relay for Life Chair Brandi Krajewski invites all persons and
teams to the next Team Captain meeting on March 21,2013.
The American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event for Winston
County will be held Friday, May 31 at Louisville High School. The
opening ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., with cancer survivors taking
their victory lap at 7 p.m.
The 2013 event is: “Cancer Doesn’t Take A Holiday”.
