LPD investigating rash of car breakins

The Louisville Police Department is investigating a series of car
burglaries that took place on the west side of Louisville.

LPD Investigator Gerald Hayes vehicles no several vehicles were
burglarized and items have been stolen from the cars. The most of the
vehicles were unlocked when they were broken into.

Police are reminding everyone to lock their vehicles when they are
unattended and to remove valuable items from inside their cars.

“Do not make your vehicle an easy target,” said officer Hayes.
