Fortnightly holds meeting

The Louisville Fortnightly Club met February 14, 2013 at The Market
Café with Mrs. Johnny Wooten and Mrs. Steve Brown serving as the
hostesses. The tables were decorated with the Valentine motif with
candy hearts and chocolates on each table.

Mrs. Steve Brown had our devotion. Mrs. Brown talked about how
Valentine’s Day got started. She then introduced Bro. Billy Bowie,
Minister of Music at First Baptist Church as our program. Bro Bowie
quoted from John 3:16. He then sang songs of joy for the club to enjoy.

Mrs. Andrew Eaves, President, thanked Bro. Bowie for a wonderful
program. A delicious refreshment plate was then served to everyone.

Mrs. Andrew Eaves called the meeting to order. Cards were to be sent
to Mrs. Stanley Hathorn and Mrs. T.L. Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Eaves then
led the club in the Club Collect and the pledge to the flag. The club
then voted unanimously to add Mrs. Terry Reynolds as our newest member.

The Treasurer’s report was given. . Mrs. Robert Allen the calledthe
roll and read the minutes. The minutes were approved. Mrs. R.E.
Clark, asked everyone to bring their stamps for the Library.

Mrs. Charles Smyth gave an invitation to the March meeting to be held
at The Market Café. A motion was made to adjourn until the March
