Press Ganey, the nation’s preeminent surveyor of health care
patients, recently recognized Winston Medical Center for their
efforts and success in improving their patient satisfaction scores.

According to the Press Ganey organization, there has been a
“statistically significant improvement” in the patient satisfaction
scores.

“Your hard work and dedication to quality improvement are evident
in the increase of your Emergency Department patient satisfactory
scores for Overall Satisfaction,” a Press Ganey letter says. “Press
Ganey recognized that the change in score was not random but due to
some change within your facility. Your patients have recognized this
change.”

Lee McCall, CEO, physicians, and the staff of Winston Medical
Center joined together to help increase Patient Satisfaction for
patients and families. “ We’ve made enhancing our patient and
families experience and satisfaction a strategic priority for our
organizaiton.

We started making the necessary changes to make Winston Medical
Center a hospital that our patients enjoyed coming to,” stated
McCall. “I am very proud of all of the staff at Winston Medical
Center for they are the ones who have made this tremendous
improvement in our customer satisfaction program and they deserve the
due recognition. We are definitely on the right path to excellence
in customer service and value in patient satisfaction,” McCall stated.
