Ms. Ruby Faye Dean
February 23, 2013
Funeral services for Ruby Faye Dean, 72, were held at 2 p.m. on
February 25, 2013 at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman, MS with
Rev. Michael Mann and Rev. Coy Fulgham officiating. Burial followed
in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Choctaw County, MS, Ms. Dean, was a member of the
Ackerman Church of God. She died February 23, 2013 at Webster Health
Care Nursing Home in Eupora, MS.

Survivors include a brother, Vaden Dean, Jr of Ackerman, MS,;
sisters, Mavie McKnight of Ackerman, MS, Marie Watson of
Bellefontaine, MS.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements. To

Ms Evelyn Ashford Hoskin
February 16, 2013
Funeral services for Ms. Evelyn Ashford Hoskin, 74 were held at 1:00
p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church. Rev. Charles Goss, Jr.
officiating. Burial followed in Rockport cemetery.

A native of Louisville, MS Hoskin, was a homemaker, and a member of
Bethany Presbyterian Church in Louisville. She died at St. Dominic
in Jackson, February 16, 2013. She was born in Louisville May 22, 1938.

She is survived by one daughter, Yolanda H. Gant of Kosciusko, MS;
three sisters and four brothers, and six grandchildren, nine great
grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and
friends.

Ms Brookie Lorene Lampley
February 15, 2013
Funeral services for Ms Brookie Lorene Lampley, 64 were held at 12:00
p.m. at Mt. Pleasanat No. 2 M.B. Church. Rev. Curtis Johnson
officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Noxapater, Ms. Lampley was a social worker and a member
of Mt. Pleasant No. 2 M. B. Church in Noxapater. She died at
Memorial Baptist in East Memphis TN February 15, 201. She was born
in Noxapater May 18, 1948.

She is survived by her husband Rev. Sylvester Lampley, one daughter,
Zanthresa Lachelle of Memphis TN; three sons, Stacey Arnez, Gail
Svante and Shondrice Devon; four sisters Florese, Mattye, Martha
and Rosa, nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives
and friends.

Mrs. Hessie Hellon Alexander Brown
Funeral services for Mrs. Hessie Hellon Alexander Brown was held at 2
pm Wed., Feb. 20, 2013 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. David
Upshaw and Rev. John Stephens officiating. Interment will be in
Sandtown Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in
charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brown, 92, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Choctaw
Residential Center. She lived most of her life in the Sandtown
Community. She married David Brown on April 17, 1985. Mrs. Brown
owned and operated Hessie Hellon’s Gift Shop in the Sandtown
Community for many years. She was a member of Sandtown United
Methodist Church where she served as sunday school teacher and
historian for many years.

She is survived by her husband, David Brown of Phila, MS; numerous
nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are Tyrone Tank, Tony Lewis, Stan Stewart, Charles
Feasel, Mike Feasel & Randy Watkins.

Ms. Sudie L. Wells
Graveside services for Sudie L. Wells were held Wednesday, February
20, 2013 at 10 a.m. from Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Noxapater with Rev.
Charles Rook officiating.

McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wells, 95, of Noxapater, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at
Winston Medical Center in Louisville.

She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. Mrs.
Wells was Methodist by faith.

Survivors include her son, Ray Wells and his wife, Nora of
Noxapater; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-
great-grandchildren;sister, Sybil Nowell of Pascagoula; brother,
Mozelle Price of Noxapater and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Brent Wells, Paul Wells, Blake Wells, Paris Clark,
Danny Price, J.L. Price and Matthew Darby.

Mr. George M. Hall
Mr. George M. Hall, 76, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013,
at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation was Sunday,
February 24, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville,
Mississippi. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday,
February 24, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr.
Paul Blanchard officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park
Cemetery.

Mr. Hall was born on May 19, 1936, to George and Bertha Ray Hall. He
was a truck driver for Baker Ready Mix.

Mr. Hall is survived by his daughter, Connie Forbes of Colorado
Springs, Colorado; his son, Scott Hall of Pineville, Louisiana; and
his nephew, Allen Ray Hall of Louisville, Missisippi. He is also
survived by three grandchildren: Brandie Schaar, Britany Forbes, and
Corey Forbes. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Walterine
Hall; and his parents.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cotton Clark, Hubert Eaves, Frank
Higgason, and Ray Hall. Arrangements are under the direction of
Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville,

Paul Henry Gunn

Paul H. Gunn of Macungie, PA died on February 19, 2013. He was a
retired Chief Master Sargent, US Air Force, and former owner of the
Bookarama bookstores of Allentown, Bethlehem, and Pottstown, PA. He
wasoriginally from Noxapater, MS, and left there to join the final
stages of WWII, ultimately serving for 22 years. In his later years
he was a voracious reader and writer.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Louise Gunn; son, Randy Gunn
and his wife, Janet Johnson of Chicago; and daughter, Yvonne Wankel
of Macungie. Also grandchildren, Karma Patterson and her husband, Joe
Patterson, and Ezekiel Wankel. Also sisters, Anne Sawyer and husband,
Jim Sawyer, and Elizabeth Hall and her husband, Jesse Hall.

Services: Memorial service on Saturday, February 23 from 11 am to
noon at Lehigh Valley Hospital Chapel, at the intersection of Cedar
Crest Boulevard and Route 309 in Allentown, PA.
