Miss Lola Joy Kirk, 79, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Infinity Hospice in Marion, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Monday, February 27, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with President Winfred Aker officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. 
 Born on January 6, 1933, Miss Kirk was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She was a nurse and was retired from Winston County Community Hospital.
 Miss Kirk is survived by two sisters: Kathryn Kirk of Louisville; and Lavada Robertson and of St. Charles, Missouri.  She is also survived by four brothers:  Ralph Kirk; Randolph Kirk; Roger Kirk; and Samuel Kirk, all of Louisville, ; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Charles Ray Williams
Mr. Charles Ray Williams, also known as Jack Gazaway, 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, Mississippi. Visitation was at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Cherry officiating.  Interment was in Betheden Lutheran Church Cemetery. 
Mr. Williams (Gazaway) was born March 16, 1936 to Newton and Nettie Mae King Gazaway.  He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Mr. Williams (Gazaway) is survived by his wife, Pauline Gazaway of Louisville, Mississippi; two daughters, Bettie Gazaway Prisock Glass and Jackie Gazaway Hodges all of Louisville.  He also is survived by two sons, Billy Gazaway, of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and Johnny Gazaway of Brooksville, Mississippi.  Mr. Williams (Gazaway) has seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Austin Prisock, Glenn Gazaway, Eric Hodges, Tyler Hodges, Jeremy Yates, T. J. Prisock, Brad Bradford, and Jonathan Stevenson.  Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS is handling the arrangements.

Mr. Roy E. Byars

Funeral services for Mr. Roy E. Byars, 84, were held at John E. Stephens Chapel in Philadelphia at 3 p.m. on February 29, 2012. Rev. John Stephens officiated. Burial in White Oak Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mr. Byars was a WWII veteran and retired from US Electrical Motors, and was a mason & shriner. Mr. Byars was a Baptist. Mr. Byars died on Monday, February 20, 2012 at his residence.
Survivors include  son, Jay Byars of Philadelphia; sisters, Helen Tullos of Philadelphia, Francis Hodgins of Tuscaloosa, AL; brothers, Jack Byars of Gautier, Hal Byars of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers were Corey Byars, Tony Myers, Mike Snow, and John Mark Posey.

Mr. Norman J. “Doe” Cox

Funeral services for Mr. Norman J. “Doe” Cox, 67, were held at Mt. Ary M.B. Church in Philadelphia at 12 p.m. on February 18, 2012. Rev. Lavoid Kelly officiated.
A native of Neshoba County, Mr. Cox was a retired wood cutter. Mr. Cox was a member of Mt. Ary M.B. Church. Mr. Cox died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at his residence.  
Survivors include daughters, Monique Green and Gentle Green, both of Philadelphia; son, Sherman Green of Philadelphia; sisters, Jerlean Charley of Dorchester, MA, Reader Lowery of Southfield, MI, Velera Culberson, Billie Carter, both of Philadelphia; brothers, Everett Cox of Snellville, GA, Matthew Cox of Philadelphia.

A native of Louisville, Mrs. Eiland was a homemaker. Mrs. Eiland was a member of Miller Chapel M.B. Church. Mrs. Eiland died on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her residence in Louisville.
Survivors include daughter, Gale Smith; sons, Leroy Owens, Larry Owens, Owens Gamblin, Edward Owens, Thomas Owens; 32 grandchildren.

Mrs. Reid was a homemaker. Mrs. Reid was a Pentecostal. Mrs. Reid died on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Golden Living Nursing Center in Carthage.
