AARP to meet Feb. 13 Winston County area AARP Chapter # 2859 will be holld their February 13 meeting in the City Hall at 2:00 P.M. Members are asked to be present and on time. Steak event Feb. 16 Indian Springs Assembly of God will be serving a Ribeye Steak Supper Saturday, February 16th beginning at 4 p.m. Suggested donation for steak plates will be $12 and for chicken strip plates will be $8. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church will host its annual Women and Men in Red Program on February 17, 2013 (Third Sunday) evening at 3:00 pm. The guest speaker for the occasion will be Rev. Charles Goss of Little Zion M.B. Church. Special music from the Brushfork M.B. Church Gospel Choir will be rendered along with their Pastor Avant. Refreshments will be served following the program. Cornerstone Clinic Meeting Feb. 17 The Meeting for Cornerstone Clinic will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall in First United Methodist Church. Cornerstone Clinic provides Health Care and Medicine for our uninsured residents in Winston County. The counselor will advise each student individually about course selections for next year. A pre-registration packet was given to every student to discuss with their parent/guardian on February 6th.
