The annual Louisville Christmas will kick off Monday, December 3 at 5:30 p.m.

The Chamber staff asks persons to register any entries by Friday, November 30. The coliseum will be open by Wednesday, November 28 for people to work on their float. The parade will leave promptly at 5:30 from the coliseum. The Chamber staff reminds all persons to be in line by 5 pm.

The Winston County Chamber of Commerce who sponsors the Louisville Parade will also select winners in four categories for the parade. Winners for best float will be selected in the school, churches and civic organizations, business and industry division, cars and trucks division and store windows competition.

Other upcoming holiday events will be : Ladies Night Out will be December 6 from 4:00 pm ā€“ 7:00 pm.

Mainly Music will also host a talent contest in front of the court house on December 8 and the Scot McQuad Band will be playing in front of the court house from 1:00 pm ā€“ 3:00 pm. Scott McQuaig is a Meridian musician who recently released his album, Iā€™m still falling.

Carl Jackson Home for Christmas will be December 8 fro 4 p.m and 7 p.m. shows. Tickets may be purchased at the Winston County Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to Jackson the show features award winning writers and performers Jerry Salley, Larry Cordle, Valerie Storey, Bradley Walker, Johnny Rawls, and comedian Lonnie Shorr.
