DU to hold annual event Nov. 8

Winston County Ducks Unlimited will host its annual fundraising dinner on Thursday, Nov. 8.

The annual banquet will be held Thursday, Nov. 8 starting at 6 p.m. at Lake Tiak O’Khata in the main dining area.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and funds raised from the event will go toward Ducks Unlimited efforts to save wetlands and habitat across the state.

DU: No other Waterfowl Organization has done more for the Mississippi Waterfowler than DU

DU projects have improved waterfowl habitat on more than 289,000 acres in Mississippi to date Amount Spent on Projects in Mississippi: over $37 Million to date 87,945 acres conserved on public lands (Most of it is open to the public for hunting)

In Mississippi, DU has spent on average over the last 5 years $2.5 million per year improving waterfowl habitat and hunting opportunities
