Mrs. Bobbye Ivy Holder Services for Bobbye Ivy Holder were held Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Hight Assembly of God Church in Noxapater with Bro. Toby Halfacre officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Home of Philadelphia in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Holder, 79, of Noxapater, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Winston Medical Center in Louisville.
She had made her home in Winston and Neshoba counties all of her life. Mrs. Holder was a member of Hight Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Parker of Noxapater; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vivian Lowe of Collinsville, Doris Russell of Noxapater and Dorothy Anderson of Purvis. Pallbearers were Clovis Parker, Donald Ray Parker, John Swindle, Cody Vowell, Mark Kugle, Larry Duran and Jon White.
Mrs. Erma Agent Funeral services for Mrs. Erma Agent were held at 2 pm Friday, October 5, 2012 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Dr. Eugene Dobbs and Rev. John Stephens officiating. Interment was in Old Pearl Valley Cemetery with John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Agent, 91, passed away on Wed., October 3, 2012 at Choctaw Residential Center. She was a retired seamstress from Garan Manufacturing. Her hobbies were quilting, embroidering and gardening.
Mrs. Agent was a member of Old Pearl Valley Baptist Church.

Mr. Brasher, 78, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the State VeteransHome in Kosciusko, MS. He was born in Lyon, MS on February 2, 1934. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Brasher retired from South Central Bell after 31 years of service. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers. His hobbies were gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Brasher is survived by his wife of 60 years, Imogene Brasher of Phila, MS; daughters, Terry Jayroe of Starkville, MS and Diane Stegall of Meridian, MS; son, Mark Brasher of Phila, MS; sister, Loreta Morris of Clarksdale, MS, June Sneed of Marks, MS and Janie Sidie of Clarksdale, MS; brothers, Michael Brasher of Clarksdale, MS and Gerald Brasher of Hamilton, AL;(6) grandchildren, (4) great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ethridge Bilbo Hampton, Jr. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2012 Funeral services for Mr. Ethridge Bilbo Hampton, Jr., 56, were held at 11:00 am, Friday Oct. 5, 2012 at Friendship M.B. Church. Minister Linda Hampton officiated. Burial followed in Spring Hill Cemetery.
A resident of Noxubee County, Mr. Hampton, Jr. was a funeral home owner. He was also a member of Friendship M.B. Church and a Buffalo Solider, Mason, member of MFDA, life member of NAACP, Adjunt Professor at EMCC at Scooba, MS. Mr. Ethridge Bilbo Hampton, Jr. died Saturday October 1, 2012 at his home.
Survivors include wife, Linda Hampton of Louisville, MS.; daughters, Daya Hampton Cox and Tarae Hampton; sisters, Sandra Cole of Louisville, MS.; Jimmie Hartfield and Billie Hampton of Jackson, MS.; Rochelle Brown of Columbus, MS.; 2 grandsons, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Elena Griffin Welch Saturday, Oct. 1, 2012 Funeral services for Mrs. Elena Griffin Welch, 96, were held at 2:00 pm, Saturday Oct. 6, 2012 at Mt. Sinai M.B. Church in Preston, MS. Rev. Marvin Brown officiated. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery. A resident of Kemper County, Mrs. Welch was a retired Cosmetologist and Nurse.
She was also a member of Mt. Sinai M.B. Church. Mrs. Welch died Saturday October 1, 2012 at John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital in Dekalb.
Survivors include sister, Lillie Rush of Preston, MS.; brother, Melvin Houston of Decatur, GA.; 5 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Ernest Gene Fleming
Mr. Ernest Gene Fleming, 73, went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2012, at his home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 3rd, at Campground United Methodist Church, with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment was in Campground Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fleming was born December 22, 1938, in Scooba, MS, to Linzie Danner Fleming and Owens Paulette Fleming, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Huntley Fleming of Louisville; daughter, Angela (Brent) Gohring of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; son, Lee Fleming of Henderson, Texas; four grandchildren, Blake, Garrett, and Brooke Gohring, and Linzie Fleming; three brothers, Bobby (Sheila) Fleming of Louisville, MS, Joe (Agnes) Fleming of Louisville, MS, and Terry (Judy) Fleming of Philadelphia, MS; and four sisters, Virginia Mitchell of Louisville, MS, Laverne McKay of Murrayville, GA, Eula (Ted) Betts of Southaven, MS, and Gloria (Wallace) Cade of Starkville, MS; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Bobby Gene Fleming, Owens Paulette Fleming, Jr., and Billy Ray Fleming.
Ernest graduated from Louisville High School. He served in the Mississippi National Guard, was a Mason and a Shriner. He was also an active member of Campground United Methodist Church.
Ernest was a loving husband, dad, and granddad (Pops). He was married to the love of his life (Martha) for over 50 years. They were married March 31, 1962, and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 31, 2012, with a very memorable trip to Savannah, GA, and Charleston, SC.
Their life together during their first thirty-two years of marriage carried them to many places; Pasadena, TX, Greenwood, MS, Jackson, MS, West Point, MS, Prairie, MS, and Ruston, LA. Ruston was home for the Flemings since both of their children graduated from Ruston High School and Louisiana Tech University. Upon his retirement from Southern Natural Gas Company in 1994, they returned to Louisville, MS.
Pallbearers were Mark Fleming, Scotty Fleming, Ronnie Mitchell, Wally Cade, Blake Gohring, and Garrett Gohring. Memorials may be made to Campground United Methodist Church Building Fund, c/o Becky Waddell, 4431 Young Crossing Road, Louisville, MS, 39339; or St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
