From press reports

The College of Education at Mississippi State University is pleased to announce that the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Speech Education in partnership with the Louisville Municipal School District will offer a graduate class during the Fall semester on the campus of Eiland Middle School.

The class is titled EDS 8623: Effective Instruction and will be taught by Dr. Dana Franz.

Dr Franz stated, “Effective Instruction gives educators an opportunity to examine research-based teaching trends in education. The course is designed to allow each educator to stud instruction methods most effective in their content area.” This class will be offered on Thursdays from 4-6:50 p.m. in the DS room at Eiland Middle School.

“This is a great opportunity for area teachers who live in or close to the Louisville area to work on an advanced degree,” stated program organizers.

Those teachers who are interested in taking this course need to apply to or be currently enrolled in the Graduate School at Mississippi State University.
