ECCC Offers ‘Advanced Excel 2010 Class’ at Training Center “Advanced Microsoft Excel 2010” is the topic of an eight week class designed to provide participants with a more in-depth comprehensive look at formulas and function in spreadsheets. The class is being offered at East Central Community College’s Career Advancement Center located in the old Spartus facility at 923 South Church Street in Louisville. ECCC to Host “Night of Percussion” The East Central Community College band department will host “EC Night of Percussion” at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, in Huff Auditorium on the Decatur campus. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend. The evening will begin with a performance by the ECCC Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of assistant band director Ed Girling. Also on tap are performances by guest ensembles from Leake Central, Newton County and Neshoba Central high schools. ECCC music keyboard instructor Len Bobo will perform a piano solo and the program concludes with the ECCC Mallet Ensemble. “We look forward to an evening of great performances and are very excited to have guests from our local high school bands to participate in this special event.
