Library continues summer fun

The Winston County summer library program wounded down with a visit from The Snakeman.

Terry Vandeventer thrilled children enrolled in the Summer Library Program on Tuesday, June 26 with his collection of reptiles. Children not only saw, but learned about Brown Snakes, King Snakes, Coach Whip Snakes, Chicken Snakes, Corn Snakes, and a beautiful and rare Indigo Snake.

Over 130 children attended the final program of the Winston County Library Summer Library Program.

The awards program will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 2 p.m. Awards will be given out and the City of Louisville Fire Truck will spray water on the children in the field beside the 911 building.

There will be facepainting and sno-cones from the Sugar Shack van, which will be $1.00.

The library staff wishes to thank the Several high-school volunteers have helped with the programs.
