BSF Marriage holds workshop held

Building Strong Families (BSF), a division of Family Centered Programs and the Starkville School District, is a 3-year grant-funded program created to strengthen the community by encouraging healthy, long-lasting marriages. BSF Marriage Education classes are taught in Oktibbeha, Winston and Choctaw Counties and focus on teaching couples relationship-enhancing life skills.

Participants were excited as the graduating students who took part in the BSF Marriage Education classes, taught by BSF Marriage Educator- Barbara Culberson, at Mount Sinai Church received their certificate of completion. Completion of the core curriculum enables students to participate in the additional services offered through the BSF program such as career education, job shadowing and Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. For more information on becoming involved or hosting the marriage education program, contact Project Manager, Dr. George Miller at 662-615-0033.
