ECCC offers apprenticeship program at Centers

Instruction in the Core and Level 1 Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship Program, a program designed to provide training for an entry level multi-craft maintenance technician, is being offered at two East Central Community College Training Centers: the Integrated Technologies Training Center in Choctaw and the Career Advancement Center in Louisville. This class will be utilizing the training center’s video-conferencing capabilities as well as hands-on instruction with time spent at both facilities.

Registration will be held at each location on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. The class will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. for sixteen weeks.

Cost of the class is $625. Visit your local WIN Job Center; in Neshoba County, application and approval must be completed by June 29, 2012; in Winston County, the center will begin taking applications on July 1, 2012.

Blake Warren, ECCC Advanced Skills Trainer and ITTC site coordinator, will be serving as instructor.
