Students recognized at Science Fair

[news] Students recognized at Science Fair Students in the Louisville Municipal School District recently displayed their scientific knowledge as over 74 students participated in the District science fair.
Winners of the district fair will moved on to participate in the regional fair.
There are 7 MSEF Regions in Mississippi.  Region V covers 16 counties including: Attala, Carroll, Choctaw, Clay, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Lowndes, Montgomery, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Scott, Webster, and Winston Counties.  This includes all schools K-12.  The competition occurs on two levels: Upper Fair (grades 6-12)* and Lower Fair (grades K-5). Every year, more than 1200 students participate in the regional fair representing their schools and their communities.
*Only grades 7-12 are eligible to progress to the State Level competition
